Impact of cinema
Cinemas are meant for entertainment. However, they create huge impact on the society, and especially the youths are influenced by it. Youngsters tend to imitate the actions / behaviours and the lifestyles of the heroes and heroines in the movie without considering what the risk is. The type of movie one watches affects their personality and way of thinking. Good movie sets a good example and motivate youths to use their energy in a right way. On the other hand, if a movie contains content such as violence, it can slowly push the youth to the negative direction.
But it all depends upon how the viewers grab things or understand it. =)

Yes, I agree that the youngsters tend to imitate the actions or behaviours and the lifestyles of the heroes and heroines in the movie without considering what the risk is. However, I don't think that the entertainment should bears all of the criticizes. At least, they have to realize that what shown in the movie are not the whole part of the realistic world before they involved with the entertainments.

I agree to what you said. Totally agreed. But nowadays I think many of the "negative influence" on the youth which the professionel thinks they learnt from movies is actually a very sad accusation. It's the education problem in nowadays that focused on knowledge development while neglecting the development of human behaviour and thinking. Sometimes it's merely the human minds that twisted the message portrayed in the movies.

ReplyDeletefor example: the movie "AVATAR"had earned total of over $2.699 billion for a worldwide.ya.i agree that movie will have good and bad influence.for this movie. people will learn that war cant bring anything,just will bring out sadness and alot alot of dead body(maybe your love one)
PS: maybe the title have to change, because the meaning of the cinema is more to the building, so maybe we can change the topic to"IMPACT OF MOVIE".

ReplyDeleteI agreed with Eugene. Cinema is much more related to the building or the facility that provides movie entertainment. Impact of Movie is the accurate title. Anyway, movies nowadays really influenced a lot of viewers from different ages and background. What's important depends on the moral values given to the audience to be defined by themselves.

Agree. Popular movies not even make youngsters imitate the actions of the movies' characters, they have also influence people to spend money for the relative product of the movies.
